This story grabs you right from the start and takes you on a wonderful ride
I so enjoyed Michael's telling of this story I listened to it on Friday night then I listened to it again on Saturday morning! I learned so much about Paul Revere's ride and the opening days of the revolution that changed the world for ever, for the better!

Great Stuff
Though the content is at adult level, I play it in the car for my 7 and 4yr old. I homeschool and we are hitting the Revolution hard this semester. Michael's history shows make me furious at my own teachers. Names and timelines are necessary for grasping context, but they are not the end all/be all of teaching history. History is the telling of stories more like a damatic novel that provokes the reader to learn lessons that can be applied to today's struggles. Michael is the passionate history prof that I never had, but I strive to be to my children and my peers.
